Our Story
Conrad Legacy Planning was birthed by God, through grief, and with a purpose to bring families peace.
On April 14, 2026, a patriarch named Malcolm Conrad Monkou passed away after a sudden critical illness that left his family facing grief, distress, and uncertainty about what to do next.
His impact was mighty. His life touched countless people across the nations, and his legacy was one that deserved to be honored. Yet, in the midst of his passing, one thing was missing: peace for his family.
As his youngest daughter, my own grieving process was delayed because I immediately stepped into the role of helping my mother put things in order. We found ourselves searching for important documents, letters, financial and personal information, and trying to remember the wishes he had communicated verbally.
We were grieving while simultaneously trying to navigate the responsibilities that come after a loved one passes. The uncertainty created tension, confusion, and emotional weight during an already painful season.
But what felt like chaos became the beginning of a calling.
God spoke Conrad Legacy Planning to me and made it clear that He would turn my grief and pain into purpose. The same relief, grace, and peace that Jesus brought to our family became the foundation for what this business would bring to others.
Conrad Legacy Planning was created to help families prepare before a crisis occurs—to organize what matters, document important wishes, preserve memories, and bring clarity to the people who will one day be responsible for carrying a loved one’s legacy forward.

Through our services we seek to help restore order within families, reduce the burden placed on loved ones, and provide peace during some of life’s most difficult transitions.
What began from the loss of one beloved patriarch has become a purpose to serve many.

About the Founder
Hi, I’m Amber Thomas, a devoted servant of Jesus, a loving wife and mother, and the youngest daughter of the late Malcolm Conrad Monkou.
Conrad Legacy Planning was born from a deeply personal experience of love, loss, grief, and purpose. Through the passing of my father, I witnessed firsthand the emotional practical challenges families can face when important affairs have not been organized or clearly communicated. What began as a season of grief became the foundation of a God-given vision.
I believe Conrad Legacy Planning was established to restore biblical order within families and extend the same relief, peace, and comfort that Jesus brought to my family to families everywhere.
My very first client was my mother, Donsha Monkou, the beloved and devoted wife of Malcolm Conrad Monkou. Walking alongside her through the process of organizing and putting important affairs in order gave me an even deeper understanding of the importance of preparation, communication, and intentional legacy planning.
From the beginning, I have worked diligently in prayer, seeking God and partnering with the Holy Spirit for wisdom, direction, and instruction on how to build and structure this business. I believe that every detail of this vision has been intentional and that Conrad Legacy Planning is part of a greater purpose.
Today, I have been released by God and my Pastor to pursue and listen—to pursue the vision that God has placed before me and to listen for his continued direction.
I believe wholeheartedly that Conrad Legacy Planning will accomplish what God has called it to do: help families experience greater peace, clarity, and comfort as they prepare for life’s most difficult transitions.
My heart is to serve families with compassion, excellence, and integrity while helping them organize what matters most, communicate their wishes, and preserve the legacy that have worked so hard to build.
This is more than a business to me. It is purpose born from pain, transformed by faith, and created to serve.

We can help clients identify documents they may need to discuss with an attorney and organize information for their attorney.
When legal advice is needed, we encourage clients to work with a qualified, licensed attorney.

We help families get their affairs organized and created a clear Manuel and/or roadmap for their loved ones.
